French LePage Side-by-Side Percussion Shotgun, 16 ga., 27'' Damascus barrel with gold decoration, scroll engraved backlocks and hammers, checkered European walnut halfstock, with metal ramrod. Triple gold banded at breech area with some inlaid foliage designs. Rib is also embellished ''LePage a Paris'' in both gold and platina; backlocks are similarly adorned. Condition is good. Inlay work shows some losses to gold and platina. Stock with heavy thinning to checking and repaired fractures at upper tang. Good functioning action, fair bores. Est.: $750-$1,000. (Antique)
